I love these close-ups showing the texture of the paper and the gold highlights.

This was an interesting painting to do. I wasn’t sure where it was going and vacillate between seeing multidimensional otherworldly spaces and a big dinosaur egg–go figure.

Intertidal Sphere--abstract watercolor

Something that intrigues me about abstract watercolors in particular is zooming in and getting a very different feel from just a portion of the painting. I’ve added some examples here. Departing from my normal track for some variety.

I completed the Eddies watercolor and I’ll be exploring making a pattern out of it. I’ll keep you posted.

I recently experimented with creating watercolor ornaments. This is the first sample design and I'm looking forward to creating more elaborate pieces.

Third in the latest series of watercolor patterns. This one was tricky so I’m very pleased with making it a seamless repeating pattern and made a few color variations.
