This playful and colorful design uses some of the concepts I generated during my 100 Day Project on waterlilies, including the water ripples, lily pad designs, and ‘floaty bits’ representing small aquatic plants. I added butterflies for a pop of color and ‘life’ and I think it turned out pretty cute.
I folded up the butterfly wings for a nice effect and at the last minute decided to add some specks of gold, which I think adds a subtly magical sparkly effect.
