I created a pattern from the Eddies watercolor I recently made. I created 5 different colorways. It's quite different from the original painting--less dense--but it was much easier to create a seamless pattern in this style.
Something that intrigues me about abstract watercolors in particular is zooming in and getting a very different feel from just a portion of the painting. I’ve added some examples here. Departing from my normal track for some variety.

What do you think? I made this new watercolor version of my Poezy logo with the abstract seashell design. Do you like it better than my original logo? It's just a first try and there's certainly room for refinement, but I like it's soft, organic quality.
