During our visit to Sarlat, we met some friends for lunch at Le Petit Manoir. It is a favorite of Peter’s and he knows the owner and chef.
The meal was amazing. We had salad with liver and pate as an ‘entree,’ French for a starter or appetizer, a lamb dish for the ‘plate’ or main course and I had chocolate mousse for dessert.
The decor is classic with a modern flair, a design both elegant and relaxed. It felt like a special occasion and even the commode made you feel like royalty.
After the meal, the chef came outside and chatted for a while.
